The Bachelor: Jason Mesnick, gives his approval of Melissa being on Dancing With the Stars. Thank God!

Published by realfan at 3:29 pm under Entertainment Edit This

Talk about trying to make amends! Jason Mesnick is saying that Melissa Rycroft will win Dancing With the Stars. Maybe this will take some of the heat off of Jason dumping Melissa in front of over 17 million ABC viewers of, “The Final Rose” on “The Bachelor” last Monday evening. I really doubt it.

At this strange conjunction in time, Dancing With the Stars will not confirm that Melissa Rycroft has been added to their playlist; yet she will be on DWTS tonight , just the same; according to “People” online.

Jason Mesnick, as reported by “Extra”, says that his ex-fiance will have no problem on the DWTS dance floor tonight. Jason told “Extra ” that Melissa has no problem on the dance floor and should win the show.

I hope Jason is right, yet how does Mesnick know that Melissa can twist the night away? Is Jason a professional ballroom dancer now, too?

On today’s “Bonnie Hunt Show”, Jason Mesnick had this to say:

“I want to apologize to you and to the audience and to anybody who is watching because I did something obviously that I am not very proud of and that is talking to Melissa in front of the camera,” he says. “It’s something that I’ve thought about every day since then, and I will think about probably every single day for the rest of my life.”

If you are fast enough, you can catch a video of Jason and Molly Malaney on Bonnie’s site .

Alright Jason, stop trying to steal Melissa Rycroft’s thunder! For God’s sake, you played the fool and no amount of televised recriminations are going to clear the air, right now.

Give your audience some time to heal. You are supposed to be this single dad, who finally found his Molly. Give the talk shows a rest for awhile. This is not really helping you anymore.

Jason Mesnick dumped his ex-fiance last Monday evening on prime-time ABC, for another woman. At least 17 million viewers watched this happen and wanted to burn Mesnick at the stake, for what he did. This will never go away soon and Jason can’t ever expect to live this down for a long time.

The best that Jason can hope for is that old adage, “Time can heal all wounds”. Given time, someone else on some reality show will take Jason’s place.

Mesnick appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, immediately following “The Bachelor” episode, dumping Mellissa. Jason told audience that he was under contractual obligation with ABC , to dump Melissa on camera. He had no choice, he had to do this in front of the cameras.

Immediately after Mesnick’s rational, the producers of “The Bachelor” made a public statement that Jason was not under any obligation to dump his ex-fiance on national TV. This was Mesnick’s idea, not ABC’s.

Maybe in a few years, Mesnick can put The Bachelor days behind him. But, not for a few years. In the mean time, whenever there is a “Best of Reality Moments” show, popping up on “E”, or Vh1, you can expect to see Jason Mesnick in rewind; dumping Melissa, over and over again. As far as the media goes, Jason Mesnick will always spell “Tool”.

This “Bachelor” moment that we all saw last week, is going to take awhile for Mesnick to live down. Other reality celebrities have been quoted in light of “The Final Rose” episode.

Probably the most damaging was from Andrew Firestone to “Us Magazine “. “This Bachelor” from a couple of seasons gone by, wishes Jason Mesnick the best in the future: Firestone said Mesnick acted like an ass and did not handle his bachelor’s days, well at all.

Most of us will be cheering Melissa Rycroft on, throughout Dancing With the Stars. This was a real “blessing in disguise”, for this Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader. Despite the fact that Melissa has had only a few days of rehearsal, we will see her perform tonight on DWTS.

Jason did not come out smelling like a rose, but I have no doubt at all that Melissa will prevail tonight. I am sure that millions of Melissa fans will be tuning in tonight, to Dancing With the Stars to cheer this bachelorette on to glory!
